Prepare a bunch of these S'mores Campfire Waffle Cones and wrap them in aluminum foil. Set them onto a grilling rack over the fire for a few minutes and they will be all melty and gooey on the inside, but contained within the cone. No more sticky fingers! Serve the cones with a spoon and enjoy!
Tear off a sheet of aluminum foil. Lay the cone on it, leaving about an inch of foil at the very bottom of the cone. Fold that part up over the bottom and then roll the foil around the cone.
Fill the waffle cones with the ingredients, working in layers so that every bite has a mix of all of the ingredients.
Lightly twist the excess foil at the top to create a seal.
TO PREPARE ON A GRILL OR BBQ: Stand the aluminum foil wrapped cones up in a large can or a pot. Place them on the grill over indirect heat for about 5-10 minutes or until chocolate and marshmallows are melted.
TO PREPARE OVER A FIRE: The wrapped cones can be placed on a grilling rack and cooked over the fire. Don’t position the cones directly over the flame and make sure the flames are not touching the cones. The cones should be at least 8-10 inches above the flame. It should take about 5 minutes and it’s a good idea to turn the over with tongs half way through.
TO PREPARE IN A MICROWAVE: Stand unwrapped cones up in a tall glass. Microwave on low in increments of 30 seconds until chocolate and marshmallows are melted. Again, be sure to remove the foil first if you've already wrapped them!
