Rich in flavour, these sweet, spicy, tangy Slow Cooker BBQ Sliced Beef Sandwiches, are sure to be a hit! A great way to tenderize inexpensive cuts of beef and add extreme flavour!
Add the following ingredients to your slow cooker: onion, ketchup, brown sugar, garlic, vinegar, worcestershire sauce, paprika, chili powder, and water. Whisk together to combine.
If the beef roast is tied with string, leave it on. Place the beef into the slow cooker and secure the lid.
Turn the heat to high and allow beef to cook for 5 hours.
When beef is cooked, remove from slow cooker and place on a wooden cutting board. Allow beef to rest for 10 minutes.
Next, slice beef about 1/4-1/2 inch thick. Dip each slice into the sauce in the slow cooker before placing the sliced beef onto the hamburger bun.
Top the beef with 1/2 cup of grated cheese and 1/2 cup of prepared coleslaw.
Serve immediately.
Optional: use the leftover sauce to serve as a dip for the sandwiches.
