Everyone loves pulled pork, but why should pork have all of the fun? My Slow Cooker Barbeque Pulled Beef is a perfect pork substitute – slowly roasted, tender shreds of beef, with exceptionally great flavours!
Whisk together the water, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, and paprika. Pour mixture into slow cooker.
Add onions and evenly distribute over the bottom of the slow cooker.
Place the beef onto the onions. If the beef has been tied when purchased, remove the string and discard.
Place a lid on the slow cooker and set temperature to low. Cook for 8 hours.
Remove the beef from the slow cooker by lifting it out with two forks. Leave the onions behind. The beef will be falling apart at this point, but transfer the chunks of beef to a cutting board. Using the two forks, gently pulled the beef apart until it's all shredded. Return the beef to the slow cooker.
Stir in two cups of barbeque sauce. Place the lid back on the slow cooker and cook for another hour.
