These cute little treats are so easy to make and just in time for Christmas! Rice Krispie Treat Lollipops are a no-bake treat with so many decorating options! Dip the balls in chocolate and let your imagination go wild with candy, sprinkles, nuts, etc. Wrap and give these kids both young and old!
Working with one individually wrapped Rice Krispie Treat at a time, unwrap it and gently form it into a ball. It does not need to be perfectly round! Carefully, but firmly, push the stick into the ball. Repeat this will all 8 treats.
Preparing the Melted Chocolate:
Transfer the mlk chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl. If you prefer a thinner chocolate, add 1/4 teaspoon of vegetable oil or coconut oil. Microwave the chocolate chips in 30-second increments at half power, stirring well between each increment.
Assembly and Packaging:
Holding one lollipop at a time, dip it entirely into the melted chocolate and allow the excess to drip off. Decorate with candy or sprinkles according to your taste.
Set the lollipop down on a parchment-lined baking sheet with the stick standing up.
Once the chocolate has re-hardened, insert the lollipops into a cellophane bag and tie string or ribbon tightly around the stick end.
Packaged lollipops should be stored in a large Ziploc bag or a large container with a tight-fitting lid. This will keep the treats tasting fresh and will prevent them from drying out. Do not refrigerate!
