In a small sauce pan, over medium-low heat, bring the wine and milk to a low simmer.
Gently add the dark chocolate pieces and carefully stir using a rubber spatula.
After two minutes, or when the chocolate seems to be completely melted, use a whisk and rigorously aggravate the mixture to ensure the chocolate is incorporated into the liquids.
Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Yield will be about 3-4 cups. Recipe can certainly be doubled to accommodate a larger serving size. Tripling the ingredients will most likely result in burnt chocolate; it’s better to prepare the drink in batches.
