A 1980s family pantry staple, this copycat version of the popular and familiar Dainty brand Beef Flavoured Rice will surely invoke all of your warm and fuzzy nostalgic feelings!

Ingredients

instant rice,
brown or white

water

salted butter

whole
beef bouillon cube

teaspoon
browning liquid
1/2
teaspoon
dark soy sauce
1/2
teaspoon
Worcestershire sauce
1/4
teaspoon
ground nutmeg
1/4
teaspoon
onion powder
1/4
teaspoon
garlic powder
1/2
teaspoon
ground black pepper
Instructions
Add all ingredients except the rice to a medium sized pot. Over high heat, bring to a boil.
Once boiling, stir in the rice.
Cover and reduce heat to low.
Allow rice to cook for 10-12 minutes.
Remove lid and fluff rice with a fork. Garnish (optional) and serve.
