With the amount of citrus flavour in this Citrus Sidecar Cocktail, it's as refreshing as it is delicious. Prepared with brandy, triple sec, and lemon juice, this cocktail is shaken with ice until really cold and then poured into a chilled glass with an orange twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 ounces brandy
  • 3/4 ounce triple sec
  • 3/4 ounce lemon juice
  • orange twist

Instructions

  • Add the brandy, triple sec, and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker. Add enough ice to cover the liquid in the bottom of the shaker. Shake for 30 seconds until the cocktail mixture is really cold.
  • Strain into a chilled old-fashioned glass and garnish with an orange twist. Be sure to prepare the twist directly over the glass so that the released oils from the orange get into the cocktail. Serve immediately.
